The client is seeking two Non-Executive Directors to join its Board at a pivotal time in its development. These roles will help shape the future of a leading NHS mental health provider serving communities across a defined London area, delivering vital mental health services to individuals through a large, multidisciplinary workforce. The Trust is focused on innovation, inclusion, and high-quality care, with an ambition to elevate performance and continued investment in services, facilities, and collaborative work.
One appointment will chair the Audit Committee and is expected to bring deep board-level experience in a complex, regulated environment, along with strong financial expertise and a recognised financial qualification. This role will oversee governance, risk, and assurance frameworks, providing rigorous challenge and effective oversight to support organisational accountability and decision-making.
The second role is for a senior clinical leader with a background in psychiatry, psychology, or an allied health profession. This position will strengthen Board oversight of quality, patient safety, clinical effectiveness, and patient experience, ensuring that clinical considerations meaningfully inform strategy and performance. Successful candidates will demonstrate sound judgement, strategic thinking, and the confidence to challenge constructively while building strong relationships, with a genuine commitment to inclusion, compassionate leadership, and tackling health inequalities, and an openness to diverse perspectives.
