Description

The Chief Information Officer (CIO) role at our client is a crucial position that will involve driving a transformation agenda with strong support from management and owners. The CIO will be responsible for leading the company's entire IT and digitalization journey, building a modern, business-oriented, and data-driven IT function. Reporting to the CFO and working closely with the CEO and group management, the CIO will play a key role in taking our client to a scalable, cost-effective, and guest-focused digital environment that supports strong growth year-round. The CIO will lead a central IT organization of approximately 30 employees and consultants, collaborating closely with operations at our client's destinations, with the location being in Stockholm with regular presence in the mountains.Responsibilities of the CIO will include setting and driving our client's overall IT and digitalization strategy in line with business goals and guest experience, as well as further developing a central, cohesive IT function that effectively supports all business areas and destinations. The CIO will lead the transition from legacy environments to modern, scalable, and cost-effective platforms, establish clear governance, prioritization, and follow-up of IT and digital initiatives across the group. Additionally, the CIO will build and lead a cross-functional IT organization with responsibility for support, operations, development, and information security, while working closely with commercial and operational leaders on guest travel, digital sales, and data utilization. Overall, the CIO will have responsibility for a significant IT budget and will create a clear connection between investments, risk, and business benefit.
