Description

the client is seeking a senior sales and business development leader to develop and execute effective sales strategies aimed at achieving revenue targets. You will identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base, while building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to support long-term collaboration. The role will also involve preparing and delivering sales presentations and proposals, collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experiences, and contributing to innovative sales initiatives and campaigns.

You will monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential areas for growth, and provide regular sales performance reports to management. The position is focused on driving sustainable growth and profitability by navigating market risks and challenges. Success in this role will depend on strategic planning and the ability to translate business insights into actionable sales and organizational priorities.

The successful applicant will have 20+ years of experience connected to manufacturing in China, including related distribution and system integration or industrial technology, along with proven experience in strategic planning, business development, and organizational management. The role typically requires 10+ years in senior executive positions (such as MD/GM or equivalent) with a track record leading organizations of 200+ employees, strong financial analysis and budgeting capabilities, and the ability to use key performance indicators to guide performance. Strong communication skills in English and Chinese are expected, along with international exposure and comfort working with overseas principals, boards, and partners; a master’s degree and a good understanding of machinery technology are preferred.
