Description

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead an organization’s technological strategy and innovation initiatives. As a senior leadership team member, you will develop and execute IT strategies aligned with business goals, shaping technology infrastructure, software development, cybersecurity, and digital transformation efforts. This role will influence organizational growth through strategic planning, cutting-edge technology solutions, and effective management of technical teams.

Key responsibilities include auditing existing systems and workflows, mapping the current technology landscape, and identifying integration opportunities and pain points. You will build relationships with department leaders, develop a multi-year technology roadmap, and launch quick-win AI pilots. You will also integrate core systems (such as CRM, accounting, project management, and design tools), deploy AI tools to improve operational efficiency and customer experience, and support initiatives such as automated visual design boards and an AI recommendation engine for design choices. Additionally, you will hire and onboard team members and establish technology governance and standards.

Required qualifications include strong leadership in emerging technology, practical AI/LLM integration experience (including building and deploying AI capabilities), solid software architecture skills (system design, API integration, and database architecture), and the ability to contribute hands-on through full-stack development. You should have experience with system integration, data management, cloud infrastructure deployment and management, and rapid prototyping. Preferred experience may include familiarity with construction workflows, real estate and construction technology, customer experience design (UX/UI), and homebuilding business models. The ideal background includes 5–10+ years of software engineering and architecture experience, along with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and manage change across the organization.
