We are seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead technology strategy and execution for a mission-critical fintech digital platform. In this C-suite role, you will shape growth, innovation, and customer experience by defining and delivering an end-to-end technology roadmap that supports scalability, security, and continued platform evolution.
You will be responsible for setting and executing the company’s technology strategy, leading engineering, platform architecture, payments technology, data, security, and technology operations. Key responsibilities include ensuring high availability, performance, and resilience for mission-critical transaction systems; partnering across Product, Commercial, Risk, and Operations to deliver compliant, customer-focused digital solutions; and owning cybersecurity, technology risk, data privacy, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
You will drive platform modernisation, support adoption of emerging technologies, and promote engineering best practices, while building and leading a strong technology leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (with a master’s preferred) and substantial progressive technology experience in senior leadership roles, including proven experience in fintech and regulated digital payments environments. You should demonstrate strong experience scaling complex, high-availability platforms at significant transaction scale, deep knowledge of modern software architecture and distributed systems, strategic and commercially minded leadership, and the ability to attract, develop, and retain top engineering talent.
