the client is seeking an experienced Chief Technology Head in singapore to lead technology strategy and engineering excellence across large, complex capital projects in the petrochemical and downstream sectors. the role shapes the technology vision, engineering standards, and long-term capability roadmap, while serving as the senior technical authority across projects. it will drive the adoption of advanced process technologies and establish best practices for plant and process design, ensuring alignment with international engineering and safety standards.
core responsibilities include overseeing basic and detailed engineering design activities and managing multidisciplinary engineering teams across process, mechanical, piping, instrumentation, and electrical disciplines. the Chief Technology Head will provide executive technical oversight across the full project lifecycle, including feed studies, EPC/EPCM execution, commissioning, and start-up, supporting delivery on time, within budget, and to specification. the role also emphasizes quality, efficiency, and compliance, and includes acting as a technical advisor to address complex execution challenges and resolve high-impact engineering and project risks.
