The client is seeking a Chief Technical Officer (CTO) to lead global engineering activities and drive industrial transformation in the Aérospatiale sector. The CTO will ensure alignment between operational performance and a long-term innovation strategy, supporting ambitions for growth, innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable development.
Key responsibilities include defining and executing the global engineering and R&D strategy, leading and structuring an international engineering organization, and harmonizing industrial and engineering processes across sites worldwide. The role will develop centres of excellence to strengthen technical expertise, drive industrial optimization, standardization, and scalability, and implement digitalization, automation, and AI solutions.
The CTO will build and deliver a long-term technology and innovation roadmap, anticipate relevant industry trends such as advanced materials, energy, and new processes, and collaborate with key industrial partners and strategic clients. The successful candidate will bring strong engineering expertise along with strategic vision, leadership, and the ability to manage complex international environments, supported by strong collaboration and communication skills to support business growth and operational performance globally.
