Girl Scouts Nations Capital (GSCNC) is seeking a Chief Strategy and External Affairs Officer (CSO) to help lead the council's bold new strategic plan, (S)heroes of the Movement, from ambition to achievement. The CSO will work closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to oversee philanthropy, marketing, communications, strategic initiatives, and impact, integrating external relations, fundraising, and long-term strategy into a cohesive whole. This role requires a leader who can see the big picture and understand how GSCNC is perceived by various audiences, advancing the council's standing and story with each interaction.The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled executive who can fulfill the strategic plan and transform the functions they lead, taking GSCNC from good to great.
