the client is seeking a Chief Strategy and Growth Officer to help lead the organization into its next chapter as part of the executive team, reporting to the CEO. This role owns the strategic direction and growth agenda and provides executive-level translation of field insight into concrete outcomes, ensuring strategy drives action rather than remaining at the framework level. The work spans strategy, growth and new revenue development, and brand and community activation, with the goal of measurably expanding partnerships, revenue, and audience impact.
Strategic direction includes using foresight, market and cultural/narrative analysis, and ecosystem signals to chart where the field is moving and where the client should focus its bets. The officer will refine strategic direction and positioning, develop planning and decision tools to guide leadership choices, and formalize an insights function so external signals are regularly translated into actionable recommendations for leadership and CEO decision-making. The role also clarifies where the organization is uniquely suited to lead, where partnership is the better path, and what to evolve or sunset.
Growth, business development, and new revenue responsibilities focus on owning a growth agenda that delivers measurable new revenue, including launching mission-aligned growth tracks that may include partnerships and content or service models for creators and narrative infrastructure. The officer will lead partnerships that become revenue-bearing business development activities, co-created ventures, and transactions, while thinking holistically about the pipeline across revenue lines and related funding and investment activity to sequence and resource strategic bets. Brand and communications leadership includes advancing messaging, audience strategy, and marketing funnels to support both mission and growth, building a thought leadership platform to strengthen influence and differentiation, and cultivating community and learning through relationships with key constituencies such as creators, partners, and funders.
