The client is seeking a Chief Sales Officer (m/w/d) to provide overall commercial responsibility for the group with a focus on global growth, internationalization, and scaling integrated hardware, software, and data business models. The role will lead the global sales and marketing organization, including scaling business activities and supporting integration initiatives related to acquisitions.
Key responsibilities include developing and managing customer and partner relationships, implementing global sales and go-to-market strategies, and driving the expansion of integrated business models across hardware, software, analytics, and services. The position also supports growth initiatives through M&A and post-merger integration efforts, ensuring that acquired businesses are effectively incorporated into the overall strategy.
Applicants should bring long-term leadership experience in global sales functions with P&L responsibility, along with proven achievements in growth, transformation, and building sales organizations. Relevant knowledge and networks in areas such as power management, smart energy, grid infrastructure, critical facilities, data center infrastructure and/or industrial IoT are expected, as well as experience in energy technology markets. Expertise in M&A, due diligence, and post-merger integration is required, and the role is based in the northern Rhein-Main area.
