The Chief Research Officer (CRO) and Scientific Director (SD) at our client reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and is a key member of the Executive committee. The CROSD provides scientific leadership, national strategic vision, and governance oversight for all projects funded by our client. They are responsible for ensuring research excellence, transparency, integrity, quality, and modern research security in the application review process. Additionally, the CROSD supports the execution of our client's strategic plan and chairs the Research and Innovation Council.In addition to overseeing research excellence, the CROSD plays a crucial role in building relationships with senior stakeholders in Canada's innovation ecosystem. They serve as the primary leader for interactions with the local innovation community and work to strengthen our client's presence and impact in the innovation sector. Overall, the CROSD role is instrumental in driving forward our client's mission and vision through strategic leadership, governance, and collaboration with key stakeholders.
