The client is seeking a Chief Programs Officer (CPO) to join a newly formed Senior Leadership Team and help shape and deliver the organization’s long-term strategy. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CPO will serve as a main executive leader responsible for the future direction and impact of The client’s Global Programs portfolio, with a focus on improving the health and nutrition outcomes for women and children worldwide.
The CPO will lead a high-impact, multi-region Global Programs portfolio, provide strategic and operational leadership, and ensure that scientific evidence and implementation expertise are translated into integrated, sustainable solutions at scale. Key priorities include strengthening government and local partnerships, supporting strategic alliances, and aligning available organizational resources to expand effective nutrition interventions.
In partnership with the Chief Development Officer, the CPO will co-lead resource mobilization efforts by engaging donors and strategic partners, developing compelling investment cases, and translating The client’s impact, scientific leadership, and implementation strengths into opportunities for growth and scale. As an external ambassador and trusted voice in the global health and development ecosystem, the CPO will influence priorities and help advance nutrition as a foundational investment in health, human capital, and economic development.
