Description

the client is seeking a Chief People Officer for a senior enterprise leadership role during a period of growth, transformation, and increasing organizational complexity. The client operates with a B2B model and is working toward IPO-ready governance, compliance discipline, and scalable operating infrastructure. The People function is expected to act as a strategic partner to the CEO, senior leadership, and the Board, engaging frequently with the Board of Directors and the compensation committee to help enable the next phase of growth and organizational maturity.

In this role, you will lead the global people agenda, supporting an anticipatory shift and expansion in operating models through effective organization design, operating model management, and performance management. You will build and strengthen HR governance frameworks, executive compensation frameworks, succession planning, and leadership pipelines, while partnering closely with Board and compensation committee stakeholders. You will also ensure the organization is prepared from a people, governance, and leadership perspective for a future IPO, and oversee global scaling efforts by harmonizing HR practices across multiple geographies while respecting local nuances.

Responsibilities include developing scalable people infrastructure, including people analytics capabilities, and supporting international growth and M&A integration as required. The role centers on talent and leadership development, strengthening executive bench strength, elevating leadership capability globally, and positioning HR as a strategic lever for value creation, performance, and long-term sustainability. The client expects candidates to have significant senior HR leadership experience at the Chief People Officer/CHRO level (or equivalent), with proven success leading global, multi-geography organizations in fast-paced, data-driven, high-growth environments, and demonstrated ability to build scalable people platforms and governance frameworks.
