The client is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead their rapidly growing $8B organization, UAB Health System. The COO will be responsible for the overall direction, leadership, and management of UAB Medicine, which includes UAB Hospital, ambulatory services, and the ONeal Comprehensive Cancer Center at UAB. Reporting to the CEO, the COO will work closely with clinical, research, and business operations leadership to ensure outstanding outcomes, experience, and value for patients. The focus will be on optimizing clinical and business operations to position UAB Health System as a nationally recognized leader for superior quality and patient safety.

The COO will be instrumental in executing, coordinating, integrating, and optimizing UAB Medicines delivery system.
