Our client is looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to provide strategic and operational leadership for core service delivery functions such as Public Works, Water, Wastewater, Transit, and more. Reporting directly to the Chief Administrative Officer, the COO will play a key role in shaping the future of municipal service delivery through operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. This position offers the opportunity to lead large-scale operational teams and oversee critical infrastructure and services that support the City's growth, sustainability, and quality of life.The COO will work closely with Council, the CAO, and executive colleagues to advance operational performance, strengthen service delivery frameworks, enhance workforce effectiveness, and establish meaningful measures of productivity, service levels, and community outcomes.
