The client seeks a dynamic, forward-thinking Chief Operating Officer to provide executive leadership and operational oversight for a complex, fast-growing physician network. The role will advance whole-person care and support exceptional outcomes for patients, providers, and the organization by shaping the operational and strategic direction of a large regional care delivery platform serving millions of patients annually.
Based in Orlando, the COO will report to the client’s Central Division President & CEO and will drive performance across clinical quality, team engagement, strategic growth, and patient experience. Responsibilities include directing ambulatory and outpatient operations, translating strategic plans into measurable operating priorities, overseeing key metrics across finance, quality, access, and experience, strengthening physician and clinical integration, and ensuring disciplined operational management and stewardship of resources.
The COO will also champion consumer experience improvements, lead growth and market development through identification and operationalization of new practice sites and service expansions, promote innovation and improvement using data-driven decision-making and best practices, and participate in leadership and governance forums to coordinate system alignment across departments. Required qualifications include proven ability to translate enterprise vision into actionable strategies, deep expertise in physician practice management and healthcare operations with a record of achieving financial, quality, and growth targets, and strong understanding of clinical workflows, regulatory requirements, and healthcare economics, along with demonstrated leadership capability to build high-performing teams and sustain engagement in complex environments.
