Parkville Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (PYMHWS) is a new public service in Melbourne's north-west dedicated to providing free mental health care to young people aged 12 to 25. Established in response to the Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System, PYMHWS partners with Orygen to offer developmentally appropriate services based on cutting-edge research and innovation. The service represents a significant shift in integrated youth mental health care and is seeking an inaugural Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead operational delivery.The COO will work closely with the CEO and executive team to build a high-performing organization that meets the diverse needs of young people in the region. This role is responsible for overseeing the operational delivery of integrated clinical services and driving innovation within the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare management, a passion for youth mental health, and a commitment to building a responsive and effective service for young people in need.
