The Chief Operating Officer will play a crucial role in the success of a respected Healthcare organization that specializes in providing care to medically complex clients. Working closely with the CEO and Executive Team, the COO will be responsible for overseeing various departments to ensure that organizational goals and a mission-centered approach are met. Reporting to the CEO, the COO will lead the day-to-day operations of all programs and services, focusing on operational excellence through strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation of processes.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a Master's degree in healthcare, business management, or a related field, along with at least five to ten years of leadership experience in a senior executive role within the healthcare sector. Preferred qualifications include ten years of senior healthcare leadership experience and prior experience as a COO in a high-acuity healthcare organization. The COO will be responsible for supervising Regional Vice Presidents, Medical Directors, and other key functions within the organization.
Key responsibilities of the COO include overseeing day-to-day operations, translating the organization's strategic vision into operational reality, aligning departmental objectives with organizational goals, and developing and implementing operating policies and procedures. The COO will also be responsible for effectively utilizing resources to achieve organizational objectives while monitoring resource availability and operating cost-effectively. This role will require strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to drive collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the organization.
