The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our client, a large healthcare system that includes six hospitals, Wolfson Children's Hospital, Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center, a dedicated heart hospital, over ten emergency centers, and more than 200 outpatient sites across multiple counties. This role will require a seasoned operator with experience in complex, multi-hospital environments who can provide strategic vision and disciplined execution to meet the needs of a growing and demanding market driven by population increases and rising clinical demand. The COO will be instrumental in ensuring that performance, quality, safety, patient experience, and access align with community needs and enterprise goals, working closely with clinical and administrative teams to drive integration across the continuum of care and support major community initiatives.The COO will play a key role in helping the healthcare system mature its service line structure, respond to market and payer pressures, and prepare for the demands of a dynamic, high-growth region. This leader will be the catalyst for operational excellence, collaborating with teams to strengthen the operational foundation that supports initiatives in maternal health, behavioral health, access to care, and social determinants.
