The client is seeking a Chief Operating Officer for the Atlanta, GA market. The role will lead Branch Operations and Operations Support Services, and will be expected to inspire and engage staff through strong leadership while overseeing day-to-day operational performance.
Key responsibilities include preparing written, in-depth credit analysis for commercial loans, managing client onboarding and account acceptance workflows, and overseeing core operational areas such as money movement, reporting, and integration of investment functions and portfolio management by investment advisors across business and related accounting activities. The Chief Operating Officer will also support data reliability and integration across customer relationship management and other platforms, provide vendor oversight, develop and execute strategic business plans aligned to organizational vision, and ensure consistent policy adherence and compliance with applicable regulations.
The role will drive operational efficiency through technology and digital solutions, direct and monitor branch operations and support staff through subordinate managers, and collaborate with senior leadership on customer/product profitability initiatives and rate stratification. The Chief Operating Officer will prepare operational reports, participate in planning and budgeting, oversee branch financial and service delivery performance goals, control and report branch losses, and mentor and coach managers and staff. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and work experience, 10+ years of branch leadership experience in a financial institution, comprehensive knowledge of financial services products and operations, and knowledge of relevant local, state, and federal laws and regulations; familiarity with Fiserv will be important to success.
