The client is seeking a Chief of the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology to lead the division’s clinical, educational, and administrative activities. The Chief will oversee a multidisciplinary team that includes attending physicians and an advanced practice clinician, and will provide care for both inpatients at the hospital and outpatient patients in the surrounding region. The role will support the division’s position to grow significantly over the next few years.
The ideal candidate is board certified in Pediatric Endocrinology and is licensed, or will be able to obtain licensure in New York. The role is expected to support an academic appointment at the Associate Professor of Pediatrics level or higher. Candidates should be able to lead a diverse group involved in clinical care, research, and teaching, and should have a demonstrated record of collaboration with hospital and academic department partners.
Additional qualifications include experience with mentoring, financial budgeting, and resource management, along with a commitment to excellence in patient care and the implementation of innovative patient care programs. The Chief is expected to be dedicated to expanding research and teaching programs and to contribute to strategic program growth through effective leadership and partnership-driven initiatives.
