The Chief of Staff & Vice President of Medical Affairs will play a key role in strengthening the regional influence of our client, advancing the work of the Ontario Health Team, promoting population health initiatives, and furthering its academic vision. They will integrate clinical, educational, and community priorities to create a cohesive vision that resonates throughout the region. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of medical leadership experience in a large community or academic center, with a focus on quality improvement and cultural safety for diverse populations. They must be visionary, passionate, and committed to providing outstanding patient experiences, while also being skilled at guiding high-performing teams and fostering shared decision-making among physician colleagues.The successful candidate will be recognized for their clinical excellence and innovation in delivering high-quality care, with strong communication and consensus-building skills. They must be licensed or eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, hold certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or the College of Family Physicians of Canada, and be eligible for active privileges at our client. A master's degree in administration, quality improvement, or a health-related discipline is preferred to support the candidate's ability to advance our client's goals and initiatives.
