Description

A rapidly growing B2B organization is seeking an entrepreneurial, collaborative leader to translate an ambitious multi-year growth strategy into measurable execution in a complex, fast-moving environment. The role will function as a highly visible strategic partner and trusted extension of the CEO, helping turn enterprise priorities into action across commercial performance, client delivery, technology, data, finance, and operations. The organization values ownership, accountability, strong problem-solving, and leaders who are comfortable building rather than only inheriting established processes.

The position provides ownership of a critical portfolio of strategic initiatives that will influence growth, scalability, and long-term value creation. The leader will gain meaningful exposure to executive leadership and be expected to influence priorities, investments, operating discipline, and how success is measured. The role is remote within the U.S., with a strong preference for candidates working in Eastern or Central time zones, and it includes periodic travel for leadership meetings and company initiatives, with potential for additional travel depending on the CEO partnership scope.

Key responsibilities include translating long-range business strategy into detailed execution plans with defined workstreams, owners, milestones, KPIs, resources, dependencies, and measurable outcomes. The leader will oversee cross-functional initiative portfolios, establish governance and an operating cadence, drive accountability across senior leaders, and ensure commitments are followed through from planning to execution. They will build reporting and performance frameworks for clear leadership visibility, partner closely with the CEO as a problem solver to assess challenges and drive follow-through on key decisions, and strengthen processes and operating discipline as the organization scales while preserving entrepreneurial speed and flexibility. The ideal background includes significant experience in strategy and operations, business operations, enterprise transformation, strategic program leadership, PMO, Chief of Staff, or similarly broad operating leadership, with proven ability to structure and execute across multiple functions, manage cross-functional dependencies, and hold stakeholders accountable. The role also expects commercial and financial mindedness, connecting strategy to KPIs, ROI, revenue impact, investment requirements, and broader business outcomes, along with demonstrated success in entrepreneurial small-to-mid-sized B2B environments where building processes, operating structures, or new capabilities from the ground up is required.
