Description

the client seeks a nationally acclaimed academic physician to serve as Chief of the Section of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine within the client’s Department of Internal Medicine. The section is known for sustained clinical growth, multidisciplinary research productivity, strong educational programs, and a collaborative culture. The chief will lead a large and diverse group of clinicians, researchers, investigators, and educators providing comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for a broad range of lung and sleep disorders, including asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), emphysema, lung cancer, other respiratory conditions, and sleep disorders.

The section includes a substantial faculty and staff footprint across multiple sites within the client’s academic and health system. The chief will oversee and support clinicians and investigators across specialties and locations, partnering with clinical and operational leaders to advance the academic mission.
