the client is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer who will be an enterprise-wide executive and senior leadership partner, setting direction and performance for nursing practice across the system. The Chief Nursing Officer will provide senior oversight for nursing care delivery for more than 2,000 nurses, shaping the nursing vision, care model, and strategic agenda to support quality, safety, and patient outcomes, and will help advance clinical standards and professional practice through accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include establishing and implementing guidelines for nursing care, advanced practice nursing, standards of nursing practice, nursing and clinical policies, evidence-based practices, and monitoring performance related to patient care delivery. The role will also be expected to champion interdisciplinary teamwork, build a strong nursing leadership bench, advance nursing and allied health talent development, and help drive measurable improvements by aligning clinical, operational, and administrative priorities to enhance the patient and family experience.
