The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) at Riley Childrens Health will report directly to the President and oversee a team of 1300 full-time employees. The CNO will be responsible for creating a positive work environment that prioritizes safe, efficient, and patient-centered care. This leader will work collaboratively within a matrixed team structure to develop and implement strategic nursing priorities, while also supporting professional development and demonstrating a strong commitment to the nursing profession. The CNO will strive to create a culture where team members feel valued, invested, and inspired by their work with patients and colleagues. Additionally, the CNO will be accountable for achieving organizational outcomes related to quality, safety, affordability, patient experience, and team member engagement as measured by the IU Health Promise Dashboard.
