Our client is seeking a Chief Medical Officer, Acute Care to lead the organization in delivering high-quality care to its communities. Reporting to the System Chief Medical Officer, the CMO will collaborate closely with medical staff, administration, and governing bodies to advance safe, efficient patient care and ensure regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include overseeing medical affairs functions, supporting hospital operations, leading medical staff departments, and promoting engagement and alignment between physicians and senior leadership.The CMO, Acute Care will serve as a unifying leader within the organization, working to build trust and alignment among diverse stakeholders. This role will involve overseeing key medical affairs functions such as credentialing, privileging, and medical staff governance, as well as supporting hospital operations and education. The successful candidate will also act as a liaison between physicians and senior leadership to promote engagement, alignment, and shared accountability.
