The Chief Medical Informatics Officer (CMIO) will report to the Chief Medical and Transformation Officer and work closely with the Chief Information and Digital Officer (CIDO) to bridge the gap between healthcare delivery, clinical operations, and digital innovation. This role will involve collaborating with physicians, clinical leaders, researchers, IT teams, and administrative partners across our client's diverse ecosystem, from rural community hospitals to a full academic medical center. The CMIO will lead a team of physician builders and medical informaticists to develop and execute a unified clinical informatics strategy that optimizes Epic and other clinical tools, while also implementing evidence-based care pathways to improve quality, efficiency, and safety system-wide.As part of a physician-led leadership culture, the CMIO will ensure that the health IT strategy is clinically grounded, operationally practical, and aligned with our client's mission to deliver world-class, patient-centered care. The CMIO will serve as a trusted translator between clinicians and technologists, simplifying complex technical concepts into actionable insights that promote confidence and adoption among frontline providers. Overall, the CMIO will play a critical role in shaping and executing a comprehensive clinical informatics strategy that enhances the delivery of care across our client's network of healthcare facilities.
