The Chief Medical Informatics Officer (CMIO) will report directly to the Chief Medical Officer and will be responsible for providing leadership and engagement to the medical and clinical workforce in areas related to clinical informatics, health information systems, and electronic medical records. Collaborating with other key stakeholders such as the Chief Nursing Information Officer, Chief Allied Health Informatics Officer, and Chief Pharmacy Informatics Officer, the CMIO will play a crucial role in implementing our client's Digital Transformation Plan and broader Digital Health Strategy. This position will operate across various forums, including clinical, operational, and executive levels, to enhance clinician engagement, support system adoption, influence organizational strategy, and ensure technology solutions align with the needs of patients, clinicians, and services.The CMIO will work closely with EMR and ICT Services teams to drive the successful implementation of digital initiatives and ensure that technology solutions are effectively integrated into clinical workflows. This role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement, streamline processes, and enhance the overall quality of care delivery. The CMIO will also be responsible for staying abreast of industry trends and best practices in clinical informatics to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.
