As part of the leadership team, the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will lead overall marketing strategy and execution to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and sales growth, while enhancing the company’s online presence and scaling the business through customer-centric growth.
the CMO will develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy; oversee digital marketing efforts including social media, email marketing, content marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), paid advertising, and influencer partnerships; and manage and optimize the eCommerce experience to maximize sales performance. The role also includes collaborating with product development to support launches and effectively communicate key brand differentiators, using analytics and customer insights to make data-driven decisions, and building and leading a high-performing marketing team that promotes creativity, collaboration, and innovation.
the ideal candidate is a creative, strategic leader with extensive digital marketing and eCommerce experience and a proven track record of growing a digitally native vertical brand (DNVB). Requirements include strong leadership and communication skills, experience driving online customer acquisition and retention using a data-driven approach, and experience managing and optimizing eCommerce platforms; a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field is expected, with an advanced degree typically preferred. The role is suited to someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to change, and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
