The client is seeking a Chief Marketing & Development Officer who will report to the CEO and provide strategic, innovative leadership to inspire and develop a professional team. This senior role is responsible for planning and pursuing revenue and engagement goals that support sustainable impact and enable the organization to change the lives of children, families, and communities.
The Chief Marketing & Development Officer will lead fund development activities spanning marketing, brand leadership, new business development, grant acquisition, and donor and public relations. Responsibilities include growing revenues and partnerships, diversifying funding streams, and managing relationships across individual givers and sponsors, corporate donors, major gift donors, and government and foundation donors, as well as other potential relationships.
As a member of the executive leadership team, this position will actively contribute to overall organizational strategy, performance, and culture, and demonstrate organizational values through participation in rotating Christian devotions and/or prayer at weekly meetings. The role will also provide advice and support to the Board of Directors as a senior subject matter expert and will engage with the Board regarding opportunities connected to their personal and network giving.
