The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at our client provides strategic leadership for the Information Security portfolio within the Office of the CIO. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the CISO is part of a senior leadership team and works closely with leaders in the Office of University Counsel and Safety and Risk Services to achieve objectives set by the PrISM Executive Leadership Committee. The CISO collaborates with various units across the University to protect and manage our client's data, research, systems, and digital infrastructure from cyber threats.This role requires a combination of technical expertise and transformational leadership to strengthen and oversee cybersecurity at our client. The CISO will need to build relationships and communicate effectively to promote collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the cybersecurity team and across the broader our client IT team. By driving cultural and behavioral change, the CISO will elevate cybersecurity maturity at our client and ensure the organization is well-equipped to address evolving cyber threats in its diverse and distributed environment.
