The Chief Information Officer (CIO) position at our client involves reporting to the Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, as well as being a member of the President's Cabinet. The CIO will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for the IT enterprise, aligning IT strategy with the organization's strategic plan known as Ascend 2030, which includes a focus on technology and artificial intelligence. Currently, the CIO role is held by an interim leader, and the new permanent CIO will have the opportunity to evaluate the existing technology environment and develop a leadership team, structure, and processes to meet the organization's mission and priorities.The CIO at our client will lead key initiatives such as integrating AI and data analytics, modernizing infrastructure, implementing a new ERP system, and enhancing academic and research computing.
