The client is seeking a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to serve as a strategic partner and thought leader to the CEO and executive leadership team. The CHRO will develop, execute, and continuously evolve a comprehensive people and workforce strategy that supports the organization’s mission, values, and long-term sustainability, aligning HR initiatives with operational priorities, future growth plans, and changing workforce needs.
In this role, the CHRO will support organizational growth through program expansion, mergers, acquisitions, and affiliate integration, while helping maintain a unified organizational culture and a consistent commitment to mission. The CHRO will oversee human capital management across a diverse, multi-state workforce, including talent acquisition, organizational development, employee relations, labor and regulatory compliance, compensation and benefits, workforce systems, and analytics to attract, develop, and retain a mission-driven workforce.
The CHRO will provide executive-level strategic leadership and advise on workforce strategy, culture, and organizational risk. Responsibilities include leading enterprise-wide HR strategies and workforce planning; advancing culture, engagement, and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging through measurable data-driven initiatives; innovating recruitment, onboarding, leadership development, and performance management programs; overseeing compensation and total rewards and compliance-focused benefits administration; and using workforce analytics to guide decision-making on turnover, engagement, and workforce costs, while ensuring fair and compliant employment practices across operating states.
