The client is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join its executive leadership team and help drive financial strategy, profitability, and operational excellence. Reporting directly into the Managing Partner, the CFO will lead the finance function and partner closely with senior leadership to support sustainable growth, optimize performance, and strengthen long-term financial stability.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing short- and long-term financial strategy aligned with firm objectives, advising executive leadership on the financial implications of business decisions, and overseeing finance-related operations such as accounting, billing, collections, payroll, and treasury. The role will establish and monitor profitability targets, analyze practice performance and pricing structures, and prepare detailed financial reporting for executive and shareholder leadership.
The CFO will manage annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning, monitor overhead costs to identify inefficiencies, and oversee cash flow, working capital, and shareholder distributions. Additional duties include managing banking relationships and financing structures, ensuring compliance with financial covenants and internal controls, supporting analysis related to lateral partner hires and group acquisitions, and providing guidance on equity structures, capital deployment, and growth investments.
