The client is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead the company’s finance function, including financial and accounting oversight and support of sales strategy. The role will help develop business strategy, set key performance indicators, and provide executive-level commercial and financial support to leadership while guiding medium- and short-term planning. The client operates a multi-channel retail business with online, mail order, and a network of fully owned stores.
Responsibilities include leading business and scenario planning, forecasting and planning financial targets for business units, and evaluating and managing business performance. The CFO will establish and maintain finance control frameworks, including policies, standards, delegated authority limits, and an effective control environment. The role also includes ownership of legal entity oversight and management of finance-related statutory obligations across the division, along with coordinating external advisors to ensure alignment with company goals and maintaining appropriate reporting mechanisms for corporate and operational needs.
The ideal candidate will have strong accounting and finance leadership experience, with prior exposure to consumer goods on both operator/retailer and brand-facing sides. The profile is expected to include broad multi-company finance oversight across a sizeable annual portfolio, along with experience supporting domestic and international commercial activity. Preferred qualifications include CPA credentials and an international accounting background; additional requirements include leadership, coaching capability, strong analytical and organizational skills, compliance focus, and the ability to travel to retail operations.
