Description

The client is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join the executive leadership team and lead enterprise-level financial management, reporting, planning, and shared services infrastructure. This is a broad, central role focused on scaling the organization, strengthening operational discipline, and enabling better decision-making across the business. The CFO will work closely with the President and Chief Investment Officer, serving as a trusted strategic partner as the operating business increases in scale and complexity.

Key responsibilities include leading core finance functions such as accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, audit coordination, and compliance, with an emphasis on accuracy, transparency, and timeliness. The CFO will develop and lead a forward-looking FP&A capability, including budgeting, long-range planning, and forecasting, while standardizing reporting across business units. In addition, the CFO will oversee shared services that may include HR, IT, and related functions, ensuring scalable processes, reliable data, and consistent operating discipline across the organization.

The CFO will direct treasury and liquidity management, including cash management, liquidity planning, and oversight of funding capacity to support short- and long-term needs. The role also includes defining and executing the enterprise-level capital strategy, coordinating corporate liquidity and capital allocation across business units, and ensuring alignment between operating performance and capital needs. The CFO will partner with the executive team on key initiatives, provide financial perspective for major decisions and tradeoffs, and support corporate governance and execution discipline for the operating business through oversight of corporate records and related requirements.
