Lead the finance function with strategic influence across the region, overseeing accounting, controlling, treasury, tax, and risk management across Western Europe and Central & Eastern Europe. In a matrix model, also lead a legal team, ensuring coordinated execution across corporate finance, governance, and compliance activities.
Define and execute the group’s capital strategy, including equity, debt, and alternative financing structures. Own relationships with banks, investors, and external financial partners, and lead project and corporate-level financing processes, including structuring, negotiations, and closing support. Oversee group consolidation, statutory reporting, and IFRS compliance across jurisdictions, while developing management reporting, KPIs, and financial dashboards to support leadership decision-making. Provide financial modeling, underwriting, and analysis to strengthen investment decisions.
Optimize liquidity and cash flow forecasting and manage financial risks, including exposure to FX and interest rates. Lead tax structuring and compliance across multiple jurisdictions in collaboration with advisors, and establish internal controls, governance frameworks, and risk management processes. Build, lead, and develop a high-performing, multi-country finance team, and drive implementation of financial systems, ERP, and planning tools; the role typically requires extensive progressive finance leadership experience, strong capability in complex multi-entity environments, solid IFRS and international reporting knowledge, strong financial modeling for investment analysis, and the communication and leadership skills needed to contribute at board level.
