Description

The client is seeking an experienced, commercially focused Chief Financial Officer to lead the Group’s financial function and support continued growth. This is a senior leadership role for a finance professional with strong financial management capabilities, including treasury, reporting, and commercial finance. The Chief Financial Officer will work closely with senior management and the Board of Directors to provide strategic financial insight, commercial guidance, and strong financial governance across the Group.

Key responsibilities include leading all financial, accounting, and treasury activities across the Group; developing and implementing the Group’s financial strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans; and managing budgeting, financial forecasting, and long-term financial planning. The role also involves overseeing liquidity, cash flow, and working capital; managing banking relationships and financing arrangements; monitoring profitability and key financial indicators; and preparing accurate, timely financial and management reporting for senior leadership and the Board. In addition, the Chief Financial Officer will oversee financial control of major projects, review significant tenders, contracts, investments, and opportunities, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements.

The Chief Financial Officer will be expected to strengthen internal financial controls and governance, identify and manage financial risks, and oversee external audits while maintaining relationships with auditors and other financial institutions. The role includes providing strategic financial and commercial advice to the Board on major decisions, investments, and growth initiatives, as well as leading, developing, and improving the finance and accounting team. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant bachelor’s degree and a professional accounting qualification, and will bring substantial progressive finance leadership experience, including senior-level responsibility; strong financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, cash-flow management, working-capital expertise, and experience with multi-company or Group reporting and consolidation are also required.
