Description

The client is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to proactively develop and lead the Administration, Finance, and Controlling function. The role focuses on monitoring finance processes, procedures, and activities, supporting the leadership team in key strategic decisions, and driving improvements in results through effective process implementation.

The CFO will manage the full rollout of an ERP system and oversee the management control flow. This includes structuring cost accounting and reporting aligned with budgeting and performance monitoring, supporting company strategy; managing relationships with credit institutions; overseeing cash flow by monitoring working capital and investment activities, as well as PFN; preparing financial statements and producing economic, balance sheet, and financial reporting on a regular basis (including monthly reporting); and partnering with the CEO, the board, and shareholders to define and share business performance, objectives, and both corporate and functional budgets.

The successful applicant will measure business performance using reporting tools, analyze variances versus budget, and implement corrective actions where within scope and feasible. They will ensure robust administrative, accounting, and compliance processes, including administrative, accounting, and tax obligations; manage relationships with auditing and consulting firms and legal advisors; and bring a strong academic background in economics, engineering, or equivalent areas. The role requires significant prior experience (at least 15 years, including at least 5 as a CFO) in complex organizations, IFRS expertise, active involvement in extraordinary transactions, knowledge of industrial dynamics, strong end-to-end management control capabilities, excellent communication skills across all levels, legal/tax/corporate competence, strong Excel proficiency with ERP experience considered beneficial, and fluent English.
