The client is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance function for a sizable organization operating in Hong Kong. The role will develop and implement strategic financial plans aligned with business objectives and will provide leadership across financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. The CFO will also help identify growth opportunities and cost-saving initiatives through close collaboration with senior management and will communicate financial insights and strategies to stakeholders and the board.
Key responsibilities include overseeing risk assessment and ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory standards, monitoring cash flow, investments, and financial performance metrics, and managing capital structure, funding strategy, liquidity management, and treasury operations to support growth plans. The CFO will also lead transformation across finance processes, systems, and organizational structures to enhance efficiency, agility, and data-driven decision-making, and will drive adoption of financial technology to improve operational efficiency.
The successful applicant should have a degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline, along with professional accounting qualifications. The role is expected to be supported by extensive relevant experience, including senior leadership experience in a CFO-equivalent capacity, plus strong communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels, including board-level engagement. A strategic mindset and strong language proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin are also expected.
