Description

The client seeks a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic and operational leadership for its financial and administrative functions. The CFO will partner with the CEO and executive leadership to strengthen the organization’s financial foundation, drive strategic initiatives, and support long-term sustainability in alignment with the organization’s mission. Core responsibilities include overseeing accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, treasury and cash management, investments, audits, asset management, procurement, and select facilities operations, with a direct focus on maintaining organizational financial health and operational excellence.

The CFO will advise the CEO, engage with the board, and collaborate across the organization to strengthen internal controls, mitigate risk, and execute the annual strategic plan and budget process. This role will safeguard organizational assets by applying financial expertise, refining processes, and developing strong financial literacy to promote accountability and ownership. The CFO will also serve as the executive sponsor for a new accounting system implementation, helping modernize financial operations and improve the quality, accessibility, and timeliness of financial information.

This is a full-time hybrid role, with expectations that the CFO is on-site at least three days per week and may need to come on-site more frequently as business needs require. In addition to financial leadership, the CFO will support operational infrastructure areas tied to campus facilities, physical assets, safety and security, and related administrative services to help ensure a safe, efficient, well-maintained environment for people served and for staff. Compensation and benefits are provided within a salary range of $145,000 to $175,000, commensurate with skills and experience.
