Description

Join as Chief Financial Officer and serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, shaping a sustainable financial future through disciplined execution, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making. As a trusted advisor to leadership and the board, you will guide complex investments, strengthen governance, and help unlock resources to maximize organizational mission impact. This role leads a high-performing finance function focused on long-term resilience, growth enablement, and building trust through measurable financial traction.

Operating within an EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) framework, the CFO turns vision into measurable financial performance by owning the finance scorecard, Rocks, and operating cadence. As a member of the executive leadership team, you will help shape enterprise strategy and support leaders by surfacing opportunities early, clearly framing risks, and positioning the organization to meet the future with confidence. You will translate complex financial data into forward-looking scenarios and recommendations for executive decision-making.

Key responsibilities include leading enterprise-wide financial strategy, overseeing accounting and the monthly close, strengthening internal controls, and delivering accurate, decision-ready reporting. You will ensure compliance with relevant accounting and nonprofit requirements, support governance through the annual audit process, and lead budgeting and forecasting cycles with department heads. The role also covers developing hybrid revenue models, monitoring variances with scenario planning, managing treasury and cash flow, mitigating financial and operational risks, providing executive oversight of real estate and information systems, and continuously improving financial systems, dashboards, and cross-functional integration of budgets, staffing plans, and fundraising assumptions.
