The client is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to provide strategic vision and leadership, including planning, consultation, and stewardship focused on improving financial and operational efficiencies while maintaining quality of care and supporting profitable operations. The Chief Financial Officer will report to the President and CEO and serve on the Executive Leadership Team, partnering to evaluate strategic decisions and offering advice grounded in sound financial analysis. Core responsibilities include overseeing financial operations policies and practices across accounting, treasury management, revenue cycle, payer contracting, budgeting, payroll and practitioner compensation programs, financial and capital planning, cash flow management, supply chain, and financing and banking relationships, as well as serving as the lead executive for an Optum partnership and other selected outsourcing arrangements.
The client seeks a hands-on, operational finance leader who can proactively identify opportunities for cost containment and revenue generation and drive improvements across the network in a collaborative manner while maintaining the integrity of financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be a proven healthcare finance executive who enjoys working with clinical and hospital staff, can translate and streamline financial data into meaningful, standardized information for operations, and will provide expert guidance to senior leadership on financial matters and strategy.
