the client is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to serve as an executive leader responsible for vision, financial planning, stewardship, and consultation aimed at improving financial and operational efficiencies while maintaining quality of care. This role provides leadership across the organization’s financial strategy and continuous development and implementation of initiatives that support profitable operations. The Chief Financial Officer will partner closely with top leadership in evaluating strategic decisions and offering advice grounded in financial analysis.
Reporting to the President and CEO and serving as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Chief Financial Officer will oversee financial operations and related functions, including accounting, treasury management, revenue cycle, payer contracting, budgeting, payroll and practitioner compensation programs, financial and capital planning, cash flow management, supply chain, and financing and banking relationships. The role also serves as the lead executive for an Optum partnership and other selected outsourcing arrangements. The client expects a hands-on, operational leader who can proactively identify opportunities for cost containment and revenue generation, drive change across the network collaboratively, and ensure the integrity and usefulness of financial reporting.
