The client, an international distribution company backed by a private equity investor, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join their CEE Leadership Team. The CFO will be responsible for leading the finance function across Central and Eastern Europe, supporting business in various markets, coordinating international finance teams, and partnering closely with country Managing Directors and the Group CFO. This high-impact role will involve maintaining financial discipline, enabling growth, and preparing the business for potential future strategic scenarios.
The CFO will lead financial strategy and performance management across CEE markets, act as a strategic partner to country Managing Directors, oversee finance operations, ensure strong working capital discipline, and collaborate with Group HQ functions on strategic projects. The successful candidate will have proven experience as a CFO or senior finance leader in a multinational environment, strong commercial acumen, the ability to manage and develop finance teams across multiple countries, and high emotional intelligence and adaptability. Fluency in Polish and English is essential for this role.
