The client is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the company’s financial and accounting functions and support sales strategy. The role is responsible for overseeing core finance operations, contributing to commercial decision-making, and providing strong financial leadership across the organization.
The ideal candidate is a very experienced corporate finance executive with background in luxury goods or fashion, and familiarity with sophisticated financial reporting processes similar to those used in publicly listed companies or private equity–backed organizations. Responsibilities include supervising accounting and administrative staff, producing consolidated monthly and annual statements, and leveraging international accounting experience, which is beneficial. A CPA is preferred, and the candidate should be entrepreneurial with a demonstrated track record of driving business strategies toward commercial success in senior finance roles.
The client is looking for an upbeat, driven, and inspirational leader and coach with strong analytical skills, organization, compliance focus, and the ability to set and achieve goals. Strong communication and leadership qualities are critical, with an emphasis on delivering through people and effectively partnering with stakeholders inside and outside the finance function. The role is expected to support travel to retail operations.
