The client seeks a strategic Chief Financial Officer to join the executive leadership team and help shape the financial strategy of a scaling, international technology and software solutions organization in a buy-and-build environment. The role will involve close partnership with the CEO and private equity stakeholders, with a focus on driving value creation while supporting the company’s growth trajectory and ongoing digital transformation initiatives.
The Chief Financial Officer will be accountable for the full spectrum of business finance, including business and finance control, accounting, financial audit, and legal and compliance. Key responsibilities include developing and communicating financial strategy, managing budgets, and overseeing investment approval processes. The CFO will also act as a sparring partner to senior leadership and private equity investors, helping to guide decision-making and performance management across the organization.
In addition, the role will lead post-merger integration efforts, with particular emphasis on systems, processes, and financial alignment. Responsibilities will include overseeing ERP harmonization to support transition toward a fully integrated environment. The successful applicant will have proven international financial leadership experience, experience with M&A including post-acquisition integration, and experience in high-growth environments with recurring revenue models. Additional expectations include a background in IT/software/digital or related consulting/professional services, experience with ERP systems including SAP and ERP implementation or onboarding, familiarity with local GAAP for Belgium and the Netherlands, and experience interacting with banks and private equity organizations.
