The client is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its team. The role will support a global commodities-focused organization that provides end-to-end search and market intelligence services across trading and investing participants, with an emphasis on helping drive performance in a volatile environment.
Key responsibilities include overseeing company accounts and finance departments, reviewing systems and processes to improve efficiency and support growth, and leading meetings related to planning, forecasting, budgeting, and the implementation of financial priorities. The CFO will present financial information to help meet company targets and inform business decisions, manage performance across treasury, accounting, and finance functions spanning multiple subsidiaries, and contribute to the development of direct reports.
The CFO will implement risk management practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies. Required qualifications include at least 10 years of finance experience, preferably in a similar CFO-level position, along with experience in a physical trading and/or manufacturing company and the ability to create and implement financial reporting aligned to company goals. Background knowledge in cementitious products or bulk building materials (such as cement, clinker, gypsum, limestone, or slag) is preferred.
