The client is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide dynamic, visionary leadership for a long-standing community institution. The CEO will help advance the organization’s mission to create opportunities for everyone, inspire relationships, build a community of well-being, and enhance Jewish communal life through education, wellness, culture, and recreation in an inclusive, welcoming environment. The organization emphasizes broad community engagement and welcomes participation from individuals regardless of background.
In this role, the CEO will oversee leadership across all facets of operations and work closely with the organization’s senior leadership team. Direct reports typically include a Chief Operating Officer, Director of Education, Chief Financial Officer/Director of Finance, and a Human Resources Director, with the leadership team accountable for operational execution. The CEO is responsible for partnering with The client’s board of directors, which is composed of approximately 22 volunteer community leaders, to support the organization’s mission and strategic direction.
The organization operates a main campus and a satellite campus offering programs and services such as health and wellness, early childhood education, youth after-school care and summer camps, arts and culture, adult services, and related facilities. The CEO will lead an organization with an annual budget exceeding $7 million, serving approximately 4,000 families, and supported by a combination of year-round and seasonal staff. This position is expected to balance mission-driven leadership with business-focused stewardship to sustain and grow The client’s next chapter of service.
